Typical PATENTED structure of a linear ESSEBLOCK element.

1_AGGREGATE CONCRETE

2_INSULATING MATERIAL

3_STAINLESS STEEL FLUE ELEMENT

The basic component of the ESSEBLOCK chimney flue system is A MONOBLOC COMPRISING THREE LAYERS: the internal layer in stainless steel, the middle layer of high density mineral insulating material, and finally the outside layer of heat-insulating fibre-reinforced concrete. The stainless steel is anchored to the external layer in such a manner that it can dilate both outwards and lengthways; when the flue is assembled, the dilation lengthways is not compounded, therefore, independently from the length of the flue, in the case of fire, the maximum total extension will not exceed 8.5 mm.
