The ESSEBLOCK flue system is suited for use as a ventilation flue for filtering smoke as certified by the Ministry for Industry and the Fire Department. It does not need to be enclosed in wall cladding of any kind.

The feature peculiar to ESSEBLOCK is that dilation caused by the high temperature of the smoke in the internal stainless steel pipe is limited in every concrete module. This prevents the dilation compounding and therefore guarantees great stability for the whole system.
The fire smoke pipe essentially consists of two columns side by side. One of them is the main collector where the independent or secondary flues come together on each floor; the diameter always ensures an outflow section of more than 0.10 sq m (as laid down by the law).
Thanks to the simple method for installing and connecting the pieces using glue for tiles or fine mortar, the system can also be assembled by unspecialised persons. All the remarkable resistance features and notable speed of completion are nevertheless guaranteed. Thanks to the special grilles, it is always possible to have a passage with a greater cross-section than provided for in the Italian ministerial decree of 30/11/83.
