In a heating system it is important that the smoke is completely eliminated during combustion, and even more important that any fires in the chimney flue cannot spread to the rest of the building or harm the flue itself.

From the “product designation”, it is possible to see how during testing the ESSEBLOCK, the only one of its kind since it combines the best performances of both steel and aggregate concrete flues, passed the soot fire resistance test (1000°C) with flying colours and that it is also guaranteed at high smoke temperatures when placed close to combustible materials. This distance can go from 50 to 20 mm, and with the ESSEWOOD flue, it can even be placed in direct contact with wood for smoke temperatures of 400°C (testing temperature 500°C), much higher than the temperatures normally produced when using fireplaces and stoves!!!!
